Setting & Operation
Q :I want to delete my browsing history when I close Sleipnir.
A :Turn on [Delete user data when exit] and what you want to delete at [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> Client --> Exit] in the menu.
Q :I want to delete my browsing history right now.
A : Turn on what you want to delete at [Tool --> clear personal data] in the menu bar.
A :Isn't there flagstick icon at the tab?
If yes, there is, this tab is locked by you. In this case, you can double click the tab or press [Alt+Z].
Now, you can close the tabs.
Q :I can't use [Ctrl+C], [Ctrl+V], etc.
A :Click [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> User Interface--> Key Binding --> Initialize] in the menu bar. Then, Sleipnir function well.
Q :I want to change my Link bar contents.
A :You have following ways.
- Drag and drop item to the Link bar
- Edit the file which is in Link folder at [Favorites --> Organize Favorites] in the menu bar.
Link folder operates simultaneously with Link bar. So, if you edit inside of Link folder, Link bar is also edited.
Q : I want to restore closed tab at the last minute.
A :You can restore via clicking [File --> Last Closed Pages] in the menu bar.
Shortcut key for this operation is [Ctrl+L].
In addition, you can restore via clicking [View --> Explorer bar --> History --> Last closed pages] in the menu bar.
Q :Other shortcut doesn't work.
A : Install the latest version of Sleipnir and turn off [Set as the default browser] at [Tool --> Sleipnir option] in the menu bar. Then uninstall Sleipnir again.
Q :I can't turn off [Fix Toolbars].
A :You can't turn off in default setting if you use an Advance design.
If you want to turn off it anyway, turn off [Always fix Toolbars] button at [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> Client --> Design] in the menu bar.
Q :I want to display Explorer tab except left.
A :You can set left or right by setting: [Position of bar] at [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> Dock --> Explorer bar]
However, you cannot set it on foreside or underpart.
Q :I want to cancel out the close button at the right edge of each tab.
A :Turn off [Show close button on tabs] button at [Tool --> Sleipnir option--> Dock --> Tabs] in the menu bar.
Q :Sleipnir shows multi line tabs.
A :This is scope creep from Sleipnir beta 3 test4 (build.2304). This is default setting of Sleipnir.
If you want to change setting, change [Style] at [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> Dock --> Tabs].
Q :I want to no display tab if there is just one tab.
A :Turn on the [Hide Tab Dock when Tab is single] button at [Tool --> Sleipnir option --> Dock --> Extended Tab] in the menu bar.
*you can't display just tab part. Both tab and tab bar become no display.
Q :I want to change the Homepage.
A :You can change Sleipnir homepage via following steps.
1.Select "Sleipnir Option -> Client -> General" at "Tool" from menu bar.
2.Enter the URL which you want to set as homepage at the textbox.
3.Click OK
*You cannot set Sleipnir Homepage from Internet Option.
Q :I want to know where Sleipnir save Settings.
A :Sleipnir saves settings at
[Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000/XP]
<Sleipnir installed folder>\settings\<User Name>\setting
[Windows Vista]
C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Fenrir & Co\Sleipnir\setting
Almost all settings are saved in "user.ini", but some of settings are saved in other files.
