OpenLink Extension
OpenLink Extension is a plug-in which allows you to customize actions when you open links with extended files on web pages.
We recommend you to use this Plug-in with Sleipnir 2.8.3 or higher.
What is OpenLink Extension?
Have you experienced that you opened word or PDF files on your browser clinking links on web pages though you had wished to download and open them with different applications?
With OpenLink Extension, you can set and choose actions when you open links with extended files.
OpenLink Extension displays a dialog and you can select actions when you click links with extensions such as PDF (Adobe Reader), DOC (Microsoft Excel ), XLS (Microsoft Excel), and PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint ) by default setting.
You can select actions from:
Default
Sleipnir itself selects an action and files can be opened with browser or different applications. This is the default action Sleipnir takes without this plug-in.
Download
You can select destination to save files from the displayed dialog (default folder is desktop) and Sleipnir downloads to your selected destination.
Open
Files are open with corresponding applications.
Cancel
Cancel opening files. Displayed dialog will be closed and files will not be opened.
Setting
You can change detailed settings, targeted extensions and actions etc.

You can customize its detailed actions from "Tools -> Sleipnir Options -> Extensions -> OpenLink Extension" from the menu bar.
Use OpenLink Extension(E)
If uncheck its box, OpenLink Extension will be disabled. Uncheck to stop OpenLink Extension temporarily.

Click to open detailed setting.

How to Install
